Actors, you might notice some new features of CAZT - most notably the sharing of videos amongst actors that audition for the same role.
CAZT is dedicated to enhancing the audition experience and the new features are designed to create a more communal and interactive way of utilizing your audition videos. Some actors tell me when they get out of a room that they’re unsure of their interpretation, they are curious of how other actors may have interpreted the role. We designed a sharing and feedback forum for actors so that you can get feedback from other actors that went out for the same role - and you can provide them with feedback. Discuss your interpretations, why you made certain choices etc. It’s an optional way to enhance the audition experience.
CAZT has continued to grow amongst casting directors as well. We are working on more feature films now than ever. We are confident that January will be yet another great month and we look forward to seeing actors both at our facility and at the many different casting locations around Hollywood.
We love feedback - don’t hesitate to let us know what you think - shoot me an email (conor@cazt.com), leave a comment on the blog or stop by and say hello in person. I’m the guy that sits out in the middle of the waiting room - come talk to me!
On another note, it’s Oscar Season. I’ve been fortunate enough to see most of the filmsĀ that are said to be in contention for major awards this year. There is a lot of great performances and great films. Presently my tops are Slumdog Millionaire and Austrailia (yes, I said Austrailia). Acting wise - I’m reserving my picks until I see Doubt, Revolutionary Road and Frost/Nixon as I’ve heard there are some terrific performances in those films.
Happy Holidays from everyone at CAZT and have a terrific New Year.

Hellooooooo there
I’m new to CAZT and excited and love it. Great idea! The only wish I have is that I could share my casting videos on my public profile as well, in case I want to show it to somebody without having to log in. I do not need the public profile otherwise, since I use LA Casting, IMDB, my own domain, myspace etc. And how can I find other actors’ public profiles on CAZT? Just curious who’s on here. Maybe people wouldn’t mind sharing their auditioning videos even if it’s with actors that didn’t come for the same role. I would certainly not mind. And I would not mind if other casting directors could watch it. My auditions are an open book. As long as I didn’t pee myself because I’m nervous…
